Because I've been so busy working on the first print Tales of Asajima book, The Yukari, to make certain it can meet its Metrocon release date, Nowaki slipped a little behind. I decided to hold off until the next scheduled update before posting a chapter. After The Yukari has been released, I plan to bump Nowaki up to weekly updates. | Welcome to the home of The Tales of Asajima, a fictional world that is basis to the written works of Ashley Clark. The island of Asajima is a land inspired by the Heian and Feudal eras of Japan, passed down through stories of spirits and swords. In time, this website will host many of the stories of Asajima; the first free webnovel, Nowaki, is currently available in the "Tales" section, and coming in July of 2008, the first full-length novel, "The Yukari", will become available. | ||

Nowaki will be updated with a new chapter every other Tuesday (the update schedule can be found on the chapters page), more artwork will be added, and information will come available in the About section.
